Big Brothers Big Sisters, Pregnancy Solutions hold ribbon cuttings in DeSoto

The DeSoto County Chamber of Commerce held ribbon cuttings for two great new nonprofits recently.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Suncoast-DeSoto and Pregnancy Solutions are both new to the area.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast provides one-to-one mentoring relationships to children ages 6-18 years old throughout the Gulf Coast of Florida in Sarasota, Manatee, DeSoto, Highlands, Hardee, Charlotte, Lee, Hendry and Collier counties.

The Big Brothers Big Sisers office in DeSoto is located at 3267 US-17, Arcadia, FL 34266.

Pregnancy Solutions provides support and information for women, men, and youth with life-affirming options and support. The no-cost services include: sexual risk avoidance education for youth, pregnancy confirmation, ultrasound, mentorship, parent education, material support and abortion healing.
