IBT Offers Free Intro to Artificial Intelligence Classes in DeSoto County

DeSoto County, Fla. — IBT, along with the DeSoto County Economic Development Department, is launching a series of free community classes to help residents learn the basics of Artificial Intelligence (AI). These sessions are designed for all ages and require no prior experience, making it easy for anyone to understand what AI is and how it can be used in daily life and work.

The classes will be led by Priya Ahluwalia, Director of IBT’s Digital Inclusion Initiative.

Participants will learn:

  • What AI is and how it works
  • Practical examples of AI tools
  • How AI can help with everyday tasks, learning, and jobs
  • Free tools anyone can use immediately
