ARCADIA, Fla. — The DeSoto County Economic Development Department is partnering with IBT Broadband to host two free Artificial Intelligence (AI) workshops tailored for local business owners, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit leaders.
The introductory sessions are designed specifically for beginners who want to learn how AI tools can streamline operations, improve marketing, and increase daily productivity.
Participants can choose between two identical sessions to fit their schedules:
Both classes will be held in person at the Arcadia Main Street office, located at 17 N. Polk Avenue, Arcadia, FL 34266.
The workshops will be led by Priya Ahluwalia, Head of Digital Literacy Initiatives for IBT Broadband. Ahluwalia brings extensive expertise in breaking down complex technology into practical, actionable steps for business and personal growth.
“Artificial intelligence is no longer just for tech giants; it is a vital tool for local economies,” said DeSoto County economic development director, Sondra Guffey. “We are thrilled to partner with IBT Broadband to bring this critical knowledge directly to our community at no cost. Whether you run a small retail shop or manage a local charity, these classes will give you a clear, foundational understanding of how to make AI work safely for you.”
Registration is free, but seating is limited. Attendees are encouraged to reserve their spots early. For more information or to register for a session, please contact Sondra Guffey at [email protected].
